Psychopaten in de politiek en op Twitter

THIS ISRAELI POLITICIAN IS BASICALLY A PSYCHOPATH. GUESS WHO…

Met de verkiezingen in aantocht reikt columnist Yossi Sarid in de Haaretz de Israëli iets ter overweging aan:

“Voters need to keep one eye on the news and one eye on the American Psychiatric Association’s manual of mental disorders.”

 
Hij somt de kenmerken van die mental disorder voor ons op:

1. Apathy to the feelings of others or a lack of emotional intelligence.
2. Disregard of accepted values and customary social norms.
3. A lack of stability in personal relationships, friendship and loyalty based on utilitarian considerations.
4. Compulsive suspicion and a feeling of persecution.
5. Envy and childish jealousy for the successes of others.
6. Regular frustration and a low threshold for aggression.
7. An inability to profit from experience or feel guilt.
8. A tendency to shirk responsibility and a readiness to pass on blame.
9. Repeated lying for the purpose of immediate gratification, confusing reality and imagination.
10. Difficulty in meeting financial commitments, generously making promises and rarely keeping them.
11. Superiority complex — myself and no one else — since I have no replacement.  

Zijn drie of meer van toepassing dan wordt het linke boel. 

Snel overziend wat Tibaert zoal ten deel is gevallen de afgelopen jaren op Twitter komen nogal wat lieden in aanmerking voor de diagnose mental disorder, met als absolute topper een wijkverpleegster uit Maastricht, die ik maar al te goed heb leren kennen. 

Echter,  zoals Sarid ook stelt, ik ben geen arts. Wel kan ik in alle redelijkheid objectief vaststellen wie mank gaat door een gebrek aan schuldgevoel, wie voortdurend liegt, wie lak heeft aan respect en sociale normen e.d. meer. Zij zijn het wier afstotelijke zaken ik heb vastgelegd, waar ze niet op wensen te reageren en er alles aan doen om ze in de vergetelheid te doen geraken. Doe er uw voordeel mee. Twitter oefent grote aantrekkingskracht op ze uit.
